I, Maria, was previously interested in the Romantic period because I am a musician and the pieces that I commonly play for enjoyment are pieces by Chopin and Schumann. I also enjoy reading the poetry of William Wordsworth because of its inspirational qualities.
I, Julie, am a fan of the Enlightenment because of my interests in philosophy. One of the most enjoyable parts of working on this project was my discover of Voltaire- read the works they DON'T include in the document books- they're wickedly funny. The Romantic poets are great, too. Enjoy!
